Territorial health insurance house will no longer issue certificates

The territorial health insurance houses will no longer issue insurance certificates. According to a press release by the National Health Insurance House (CNAS), the insurance status of a person will be checked online, directly at health care providers. This is an initiative to help the insured people - CNAS President Vasile Ciurchea has said. The measure is temporary and will be replaced next year by the national health card.

Seven new drugs will be put on the list of compensated and free of charge drugs

Patients suffering from various forms of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, eye diseases, nephrological, and rheumatic and chronic inflammatory diseases, could benefit from innovative treatment. Seven new drugs are to be put on the list of compensated and free of charge drugs. In this regard, a draft Government Decision is posted for public debates on the website of the Ministry of Health.
