Women from Romania’s southern areas will be counseled and assisted to find a job

One third of Romanians are working in subsistence farming and more than half of them are women - these are the data used by Agrostar Federation in developing a program for assisting women to be employed. The project has been launched today in Bucharest, and it is co-financed from EU funds. The 'A chance for all’ initiative will advise over 700 women from southern parts of Romania and help them find a job or even start a business. According to an analysis by the National Trade Union Block, if one percent of the people working in subsistence farming are trained and advised to find a job, Romania would have a gross domestic product growth of two percent.
