The most economic tram in the world was built in Arad

The first modern Romanian tram, which has the lowest energy consumption in the world, began to run for several days in Arad. Success of the automobile industry in Romania, the most economic tram in the world, called Imperio, came on the lines in Arad Municipality. The new Arad tram Imperio is manufactured by Astra Passenger Coaches company, in partnership with the German company Siemens and has a completely new conception. With the Imperio's entry in traffic, the city in which planes, coaches, freight wagons and metros have been built, enters in history and joins the world map of trams manufacturers. Repatriation operations of the 20th Infantry Battalion Black Scorpions from the theater of operations in Afghanistan are ongoing. Romanian soldiers will soon come home. The Black Scorpions ensured, mainly, the freedom of movement in Zabul province and the collaboration with the Afghan authorities was very good. In Kandahar will remain soldiers from 812 Battalion, who will ensure the security of the largest military base in Afghanistan. Romanian Senate ratifies EU Association Agreements for Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia

Convened yesterday in extraordinary session, Romanian Senate ratified EU Association Agreements for three countries from the former Soviet space: Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia. The documents were signed last week in Brussels. Romania wanted to be the first member state to ratify the Association Agreement of Republic of Moldova. According to Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean, Bucharest has sent in this way a political signal of unity and support for the Europeanan and Romanian future of this country. EU Association Agreement for Republic of Moldova was ratified two days ago by the Parliament in Chisinau and by the Chamber of Deputies in Bucharest. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
