Prime Minister and Defense Minister attend public ceremony dedicated to the National Flag Day

The Prime Minister Victor Ponta and Defense Minister Mircea Dusa, have participated, today, at a public ceremony dedicated to the Day of the National Flag, in the Tricolor Flag Square in Bucharest.

Ioan Rus is the new Minister of Transport

Ioan Rus is the new Minister of Transport. At the swearing ceremony, the President Traian Basescu has warned the new minister that he takes over a ministry with problems and asked him to check Azuga-Brasov highway contracts. Ioan Rus was proposed by the Prime Minister, after Dan Sova resigned to engage in organizing the election campaign for the presidential elections.

Hidroelectrica Company puts on sale 27 small hydro plants

Hidroelectrica Company is putting up for sale, in September, 27 micro hydro power plants. Small hydro power plants are located in nine counties. The presentation files drawn up by Hidroelectrica for sale of each package of assets can be purchased from today until August 18th , every day from Monday to Friday. Bidders must submit tender documents until September 3rd, Hidroelectrica says in a press release. Since last July Hidroelectrica sold 21 small hydroelectric power plants for nearly 16 million euros.

Ministry of Tourism will support associations in joint projects in a given geographical area

The Ministry of Tourism plans, for the next period, to support the so-called clusters - associations between several companies and physical bodies engaged in joint projects within a given geographical area. Minister delegated for Tourism, Florin Jianu, has said, today, that the cluster policy should rely on attracting European funds for 2014-2020, in order to create local and regional brands. Romania will be the first country in the world to create a cluster for young people this autumn, because they represent one third of all global tourists.
