Sanitas trade union federation leaders have discussed, today, with Health Minister Nicolae Banicioiu, while union members of four counties and Bucharest were picketing the Ministry. The meeting has ended with promises of a new collective bargaining agreement, the release of vacancies and search for solutions to increase wages. Negotiations will continue in the coming days at Ministries of Finance and Labor, in parallel with picketing, and union members say they will not stop the protests until solutions to increase wages by 10% will be found.
Romanian citizens may receive passports at place of residenceThe Romanian citizens residing permanently in Romania can choose, from today, to receive their passports at home or place of residence - the General Directorate for Passports informs. This measure removes the obligation to come to the office desk for raising the document, but submitting the documents necessary for the passport will be further done personally. The cost of this service is approximately 9 lei. The passport will be delivered by courier only to the holder who signs for receiving it. The recipient will be notified via SMS on the day on which delivery will be made.
