Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta and his Moldovan counterpart, Iurie Leanca, will meet on April 29 in the village Sculeni, Ungheni county, to mark mark the elimination of the European visas for Moldovan citizens, Romanian government informed. The two officials will go to Sculeni border crossing point, to talk with Moldovan citizens which will cross the Prut border without visas, based on biometric passport. The source cited recalls that from April 28, 2014, Moldovan citizens holding biometric passports can travel visa-free to European Union. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
*Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority about gas consumption this month
This month, the industry will consume imported natural gas in proportion of 6.5%, said Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority. The share exceeds the initial estimate of only 4%, but it is one of the lowest so far. For instance, two years ago the individual consumption of imported natural gas was more than triple. For population and for the power plants which supply thermic energy for domestic users the share of imports will be only 2%. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

The season to visit fortified churches in Transylvania officially opened on Sunday. The program "Discover the soul of Transylvania" will provide more than 100 cultural events in these places of worship by October. The 250,000 tourists registered last year visited mostly the Black Church in Brasov, The Church on the Hill in Sighisoarea and the fortified churches in Prejmer, Herman, Viscri and Biertan.
