European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and World Bank finance Comarnic - Brasov motorway

European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and World Bank will participate in financing the construction of Comarnic - Brasov motorway, estimated at 1.5-1.8 billion euros, said Romanian transport minister, Dan Sova. The highway will have three exits, between Sinaia and Busteni, at Predeal and at Rasnov, 19 viaducts, 15 bridges and approximately 10 kilometres of tunnels. The motorway will be built by a consortium consisting of Vinci, Strabag and Aktor companies. (RADIO ROMANIA reports).

Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights visits Romania

Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights is interested in Romania's files at The European Court of Human Rights, said the president of Superior Council of Magistracy, Adrian Bordea after the meeting he had with the European official who visits our country. "Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights", said mister Bordea, "was interested in human rights violations in Romania, I explained that the detention regime in Romania has already been the subject of complaints at The European Court of Human Rights for which Romania has been convicted and unfortunately, Romania occupies the last place in the financing of justice". The Europeans Commissioner also requested clarification about the law on minors, judgment and their detention regime. (RADIO ROMANIA reports).

Romania participates with 24 inventions at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva

The dynamic device for air transfer, the device for aerating the water surface, or the pneumatic system for tree shaking are three of the 24 inventions with which Romania partipipates, these days, at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. In previous editions, our country has been awarded many prizes and last year Romanians took the trophy and several gold medals. Last year honours list included 40 medals, of which 27 gold, 12 silver, one bronze and 12 special awards. Romania won the Grand Prix of the 2013 season with the invention "The method and non-intrusive inspection system for aircraft of all sizes, for scanning planes due to security reasons".
